Olivier has a PhD in biology and in addition to being Director of CHDC, he is also the scientific advisor for Canadians for Ethical Treatment of Animals. We are thrilled to once again have our Canadian Partner join us.
Vickery Eckhoff. Everyone knows Vickery for her biting, factual articles in Forbes. Be prepared for a rousing presentation as only Vickery can deliver!
Robin Hutton. All of you should know Robin well from our Doolittle Campaign. Robin is the head of the Sergeant Reckless Foundation. You will recall, Sgt. Reckless is the mare that served in the Korean War and along with numerous honors, including two purple hearts, was promoted to Staff Sergeant twice. We can't wait to meet Robin and hear about her efforts to bring Reckless to the screen.
Ginger Kathrens. What would a conference discussing wild equines be without Ginger - the volunteer executive director of The Cloud Foundation? Ginger has graciously agreed to join us again this year.
Victoria McCullough. Victoria is CEO of Chesapeake Petroleum. While Victoria may not be a familiar name to wild horse and burro advocates, within the circles of anti-slaughter advocates, Victoria is well known as the woman that emptied New Holland on two days by purchasing every horse, leaving the kill buyers with empty trucks. Victoria a delightful woman and a pleasure to work with. She is founder of the Triumph Project and active in the horse industry. Her latest project is under way right now and will be a really pleasant surprise.
Simone Netherlands. Simone is a natural horsemanship trainer, runs a small rescue and heads the advocacy organization, Respect4Horses. She is well known for her tireless efforts on behalf of America’s horses, both wild and domestic.
Deanne Stillman (depending on her schedule). Deanne is author of Mustang: The Saga of the Wild Horse in the American West. Deanne is well known not only for her wonderful book but also for her great articles.
Bruce Wagman. Bruce is a lawyer whose practice includes many equine issues. He handles the wild horse suits for Wild Horse Freedom Federation (R.T. Fitch's group), Cloud Foundation and others, and also represents Front Range Equine Rescue (Hilary Wood), which has been very active spearheading the legal attack on horse slaughter for human consumption. He has also been involved in a series of cruelty cases involving neglected horses, and is on the board of the United States Equine Rescue League.
